Getting into the habit of eating a salad is a great way to maintain your health. This is just a general guide to follow to make sure your salads last you the working week. Having prepped a salad in one go will save you time and money and make sure you are having the correct intake of veggies.

 

The following steps will inform you on how to keep your salads fresh and whole.

Step 1: Prepare your desired salad leaves in a big bowl and place a paper towel over the top of it. What makes your salad leaves wilt is the moisture. If moisture is absorbed by the paper it can last you a lot longer.

Step 2: Throughout your week, change the paper towels if it looks damp.

 

Each time you pack your salad, you can also add toppings such as chicken, beans and croutons.
